This Accessibility Statement addresses the importance of fostering accessible experiences across both the Physical and Digital spaces.
Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on October 13, 2025.
We at Methodist Hospital San Antonio are working to make our site and campus accessible to people with disabilities. "Accessible" means that all individuals, regardless of their abilities, can fully, independently, and promptly access our hospital campus facilities, electronic and information technology, and educational opportunities, or with substantially equivalent access and ease of use. Inclusively designed spaces and materials benefit everyone and uphold our Principles of Community.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards being in line with the most current published version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
We actively work to identify, prioritize, and remove accessibility barriers in our digital platforms, applications, electronic resources, and physical spaces. Our efforts include ongoing assessment of our information technology and physical infrastructure, implementation of universal design principles, and continuous improvement of our accessibility standards.
Our efforts are just part of a meaningful change in making all Colorado State University services inclusive and accessible. We welcome comments on how to improve our technology’s accessibility for users with disabilities and for requests for accommodations.
